FAQ
Hopefully here we can answer those questions you are just dying to ask.
Expect more questions and answers to be added as the wedding approaches.
What is the dress code?
The wedding will be a black tie event. That generally means a tuxedo, a dinner jacket, or an evening gown. The night's events will be indoors, so while Newport will be cool on the evening of the wedding, wear something you can dance in. And make no mistake- we plan to dance all night!

If you're attending our welcome party, shoot for "dressy casual."
What is the best way to get around in Newport?
Downtown Newport is well known for its walkable nature and easy-to-navigate trolley system. Not only is the trolley easy to use, but it travels all around town and offers a great sightseeing opportunity. Please keep in mind that the temperature will be chilly, in which case a car can spare you from the cold. Uber and Lyft is also available.
Can I bring my child, or a plus one?
The invitations we send out will be for the named individuals on each invitation. Please note that the wedding will be an adults-only event, due to the historic nature of the venue. Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed at the ceremony or reception. Thank you for understanding!
Will there be an open bar at the wedding?
Absolutely.
What will the weather be like?
Historically, Newport is quite chilly during mid-April, with temperatures averaging around 50°F. Expect a high in the upper 50s and a low in the lower 40s. For all of our South Florida and Boricua friends, we strongly suggest bringing a thick coat!
When should I arrive for the weekend?
We will be having a welcome event on Saturday night, but we would love to see you around Newport during the week leading up to the big day - we'll be in town for a while!
What is the best way to get to the wedding venue?
Rosecliff has a parking lot available for your use on the night of our wedding. Uber and Lyft will take you there too. Additionally we will have a shuttle service capable of taking guests to Rosecliff from a predetermined location. More details on that one soon.
